Stockholm for TEDx.

Tomorrow, I'll be going to Stockholm to attend TEDxStockholm and meet up with my friend who lives there.

If you don't know what's TED,

TED is well-known for its annual, invitation-only conference devoted to "ideas worth spreading". TED is famous for its lectures, known as TED Talks, which originally focused on technology, entertainment and design, but have now expanded in scope to a broad set of topics including science, arts, politics, education, culture, business, global issues, technology and development.

"We believe passionately in the power of ideas to change attitudes, lives and ultimately, the world. So we're building here a clearinghouse that offers free knowledge and inspiration from the world's most inspired thinkers, and also a community of curious souls to engage with ideas and each other."

In the spirit of "Ideas Worth Spreading," TEDx is a program that enables schools, businesses, libraries or just groups of friends to enjoy a TED-like experience through events they themselves organize, design and host.

Here is my favourite TEDTalk.

So watch out for photos and other stuff from Stockholm!

Hello Hello!

Hej,

Here's a bit of an update from me. So Göteborg is a pretty nice place, and the weather has been behaving very very well for the last couple of weeks. We've tonnes of sunshine and almost no rain. Hence all the photos of the Archipelago, Islands and parks, that I've been visiting with my friends.

Otherwise, I'm just busy with studies, and enjoying them. The department is pretty small and nice, and we've started with the courses and labs immediately. It's kinda weird getting back to studies, and especially hard to concentrate for 3-4hours in lectures. But I am guessing it's something I'll get used to soon.

But I am enjoying the freedom which I always loved about studying. The freedom to think, learn, explore. To digress, imagine and design. It's fun, and I am starting to get more ideas of the million and one things I want to do.. hehehehe..

I must also add a note about food. I was always excited with European food, and I am really enjoying it here. Swedish food might be boring for many, but I am really having fun with Wasa-bread, Meatballs, Filmjolk, Muesli-Yoghurt, Lingonberries, etc. It's surely expensive in contrast to many places, but it's good food, and I love it!

Njoy!
